• Program Details: Call and talk to a lonely senior resident; they are currently isolated to their rooms due to COVID-19, make a video showing a senior resident proper oral hygiene care, and/or create a video showing staff how to use proper dental hygiene practices on their geriatric patients.

The SOD offers a Student-Led Translator Program for our Spanish-speaking patients and their families. Participants in the program have the opportunity to receive community service hours towards the Dean’s Award for Community Service. For more information, please contact Cesar Hernandez.
