The Dental Hygiene Programs are housed at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD), which is a leader in oral health education, research, clinical care and community service. Located on the founding campus of the University Maryland System with six nationally ranked professional schools, UMSOD offers the Dental Hygiene Programs in a state of the art teaching facility with leaders in the profession, innovative technology and interprofessional education programs to address national and state health problems. For students already possessing a bachelor’s degree, UMSOD is offering the new Dual Degree BS/MS Clinical Dental Hygiene Leader program at a recently constructed educational facility at the Universities at Shady Grove.
