The University of Maryland School of Dentistry and the entire University of Maryland Baltimore campus are closely monitoring the rapidly changing developments involving Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are in constant contact with and adhere to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines about COVID-19. Clinic operations have resumed.
Face masks are required in public indoor settings by all faculty, students, staff, and patients regardless of vaccination status.
Beginning September 15, unvaccinated faculty, students and staff must wear a KN95 when required to wear a face covering under the UMB Policy Requiring Use of Face Coverings.
Starting immediately, KN95s are strongly recommended for fully vaccinated faculty, students and staff when participating in group activities where 6 feet of physical distance cannot be maintained or more than five people are present.
Detailed COVID-19 information for patients, students, faculty and staff is available at the UMSOD Coronavirus page.
