Mission

The mission of the Office of International Affairs is to promote educational, professional and cultural enrichment, and oral health through foreign exchange opportunities.

International Intiatives:

• Establish collegial relations and student/faculty exchanges with foreign dental schools
• Encourage collaborative teaching and research among various nations
• Offer preventative and curative services to underserved populations
• Advance education, practice and oral health
• Enhance and expand the traditon of the “world’s first dental school"

UMSOD Foreign Externship Programs:

Students have the opportunity to participate in either academic or non-academic externships. This program offers students cultural enrichment and educational experiences in various settings.
