Faculty Bio
Dr. Caccamese returned to Maryland from the University of Pittsburgh where he completed a fellowship in cleft, craniofacial and pediatric maxillofacial surgery. In addition to trauma, dentoalveolar surgery, and craniofacial reconstruction, Dr. Caccamese maintains a clinical focus on the care of the pediatric patient. This includes the recontruction of congenital facial anomalies, cleft lip and palate, pediatric trauma, pediatric pathology, and orthognathic surgery.
Apart from his appointment at the School of Dentistry, Dr. Caccamese also serves on the Kernan Hospital Cleft and Craniofacial team. Dr. Caccamese is committed to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as on a local and national level. He lives in the Baltimore area with his wife and children.
