Dean's Award for Community Service & Engagement
While attending the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD), our graduating students collectively contribute over 4,000 hours of community service on average. Many UMSOD student clubs participate in service initiatives with community partners throughout Maryland.
The Dean’s Awards for Community Service & Engagement were established by students and the Dean to recognize and promote dedication to community service and engagement among students at the UMSOD.
The Office of Student Affairs oversees these awards and works closely with the Student Government Association’s (SGA) Community Service Chairs to coordinate updates as necessary.
