USMOD students are engaged in their communities — both locally and abroad — during their time in dental school.
Local and global engagement initiatives give students an opportunity to learn about global oral health from colleagues and community partners, provide clinical dentistry with faculty colleagues, and lead educational programs for underserved populations. These experiences help prepare UMSOD graduates to continue to be engaged in the advancement of oral health -- home and abroad.
UMSOD collaborates with numerous local and global non-profit organizations, academic institutions, and other collaborators. A few of our collaborators include:
- Division of Pediatric Dentistry
- Clinical care collaboration for Pediatric Residents with Ecuadent Foundation
