Clinical Assistant Professor Larry Cohen, DDS, graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD) in 1980. Following graduation, he practiced general dentistry in the United States Air Force until 1984. Dr. Cohen established a practice in Olney, Md., and remained in private practice for 26 years. He joined the Dean’s Faculty at UMSOD in 2006 and became a full-time faculty member in 2010. Currently, Cohen serves as a general practice director in the Department of General Dentistry and in the Faculty Practice, limited to dental sleep medicine. In his spare time, Cohen is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching the Washington Nationals, Redskins, Capitals and Wizards, as well as University of Maryland sports teams.
