Marvin Leventer, DDS

Dr. Marvin Leventer Dr. Marvin Leventer received his dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1990. He then completed a two-year general practice residency and a two-year dental anesthesiology residency at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in New York. He is a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and a fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is also a member of the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Leventer is committed to providing patients access to dental care without pain or anxiety.

Dr. Leventer entered private practice in 1995. He became a part time clinical instructor in dental anesthesiology at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1997 and in 2009 joined the faculty as a full time assistant professor. In addition to teaching and providing anesthesia he provides general dentistry within the school’s faculty practice and at The University of Maryland Medical Center in the operating room.  He has lectured for many dental groups on the use of anesthesia in dentistry.
