Dr. Glen MinahDr. Glenn Minah received his DDS degree from the University of North Carolina in 1966 and a master’s degree in pediatric dentistry from the University of Michigan in 1970. At the University of Michigan he also received a PhD in microbiology in 1975. In 1975, Dr. Minah joined the full-time faculty at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in the Department of Microbial Pathogenesis and the Division of Pediatric Dentistry and has been professor of microbiology and pediatric dentistry to the present.

Research interests are biological mechanisms and caries-risk of early childhood caries, childhood oral malodor and topics in oral microbiology. Dr. Minah has authored or co-authored more than 100 scientific publications and mentored over 50 master’s and PhD degree students. He also is director of several microbiology and cariology courses.
