The Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program, sponsored by the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, offers a one-year program that provides residents with postdoctoral clinical and didactic experiences.

Programs of two-year duration offer an optional educational tract leading to a Master of Dental Science degree (MDS).

The goals of the programs are to provide an advanced education in the specialties and afford residents the necessary knowledge and experience to enter their specialty well prepared for practice.
