Office of Instructional Evaluation (OIE)
Under the leadership of Dr. Mark Macek, the Office of Instructional Evaluation administers annual teaching evalution surveys of the dental and dental hygiene students, graduate students, and residents. Results are shared with course directors, instructors, and the administration. Findings are carefully considered each year as curriculum is planned and organized.
Dr. James Craig provides expertise to faculty members concerning curriculum design, test construction, and teaching methods with the overall goal of applying the principles of management to the process of education in an attempt to make education more cost-efficient and effective.
Monocacy Health Partners Dental Clinic
The Monocacy Health Partners Dental Clinic is a UMSOD affiliated clinic that provides our Externship Program students with an enriched community-based learning experience involving the interaction with and treatment of a diverse patient population.
