Faculty Bio

John F. Caccamese

Dr. Caccamese is a Professor and Vice-Chair in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is dedicated to the care of infants, children, and young adults. This includes the correction of congenital facial differences, cleft lip and/or palate, surgically treatable speech problems, pediatric facial injuries, pediatric face and jaw pathology/jaw tumors, and orthognathic surgery.

He is co-director of the Randolph B. Capone Cleft Program at GBMC, and past president of the American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association.  Dr. Caccamese is committed to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as locally, nationally, and internationally.
