Clinical Assistant Professor Tassos J. Sfondouris, DDS '07

Clinical Assistant Professor Tassos J. Sfondouris, DDS, received his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Clemson University in 2002 and his DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2007. He earned his certificate in periodontics and a master’s degree from UMSOD in 2010. Dr. Sfondouris completed a fellowship training program in periodontics, implants and prosthetics at UMSOD in 2012.

He currently serves as general practice manager in the undergraduate clinic and is the director of the Diamond Scholars Program. In addition, Sfondouris works in private practice in Crofton and Gaithersburg, Md. His research interests include tissue regeneration, gastroesophogeal reflux disease and reconstructive dentistry.
