Bernard Levy, DDS, MSD, has been in active practice of surgical pathology since 1969. He is a specialist in oral and maxillofacial pathology and served as a consultant to Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Veterans Administration and the Maryland State Medical Examiner’s Office. He was the director of resident training in surgical pathology at the University of Maryland Medical System and currently holds an appointment in the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Pathology, and the Department of Oncology and Diagnostic Sciences in the School of Dentistry. As director of graduate studies, he has supervised the training of over 30 oral and maxillofacial pathologists. His current position is that of director of international affairs for the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He has published extensively in the dental literature since 1966.
