Discover the power of a healthy smile with a field trip to the National Museum of Dentistry!
The NMD offers the opportunity for self-guided or guided tour options for school groups of all ages. Our interactive and engaging tours combine history and oral health to inspire healthy attitudes, foster creativity, and promote critical thinking while exploring dentistry's exciting (and sometimes gross) past, present, and future!.
NMD tours are open to all school groups, with all teachers (teachers are always FREE to visit, even without school groups) and chaperones receiving free admission. Student admission is $5, except during National Children's Dental Health Month and National Dental Hygiene Month when admission is $2.
Tours are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Scheduling is required for both guided and self-guided tours, and should be booked at least 1 week in advance.
