Programs & Events
The Dr. Samuel D. Harris National Museum of Dentistry offers learners of all ages opportunities to connect with the unique and sometimes gross history of the dental profession and the broader story of oral health care around the world. Celebrate your smile with the NMD through our family-friendly programming, field trips, and classroom resources.
The NMD is proud to offer educational programming that meets Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) as well as Common Core standards in literacy and mathematics. Learn more about our programs, including cost, duration, and how they meet education standards by visiting our Teachers & Students page.
Take advantage of these fun resources and activities to help children learn even more about their oral health and dentistry. The NMD is excited to offer printables, online learning, and on-site programming and events to engage young learners to think about smiles and their connection to the world.
Earn patches while learning to think differently about how teeth have impacted our history and culture! Designed to match current patch requirements, NMD’s scout programs provide engaging and thought-provoking experiences guaranteed to leave your troops with a smile.
Enjoy exciting events at the NMD that celebrate healthy smiles for all ages! Join us for family-friendly fun throughout the year with events that highlight oral health months, honor dentists and the allied professions, and promote the idea that dentistry goes beyond the dental office.
