Ronald Chenette, DMD, MPH


Dr. Chenette is a 1983 graduate of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  He earned a Master’s degree in Public Health in 1999 from the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  After receiving his dental degree, he worked for three years with the U. S. Public Health Service as a staff dentist.  In 1986, he began his teaching career at the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and in the Department of Community Dentistry.  In 1990, he began full-time private practice in Washington, DC. In 1994, he returned to teaching at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, in the Department of Restorative Dentistry.  Since then, he has served as a Course Director, Restorative Supervisor, General Practice Manager, and Director of Clinical Operations.  Presently, he works with the Office of Clinical Affairs in the role of Patient Ombudsman.
