Dr. Cameron Lee is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose clinical practice focuses on patients with head and neck pathology. He has expertise in the management of benign and malignant head and neck lesions, with a particular interest in cancers of the oral cavity, oropharynx, skin, and salivary glands. He also has extensive experience in head and neck reconstructive surgery, trigeminal nerve repair, and maxillofacial trauma.
Dr. Lee earned his dental degree with honors from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Dr. Lee is an Assistant Professor and Associate Program Director in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland, where he is actively involved in the education of students, residents, and fellows. His research program focuses on health services and health policy in oral and maxillofacial surgery, as well as clinical outcomes in patients with head and neck cancer. He has authored more than 75 peer-reviewed publications and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
