This presentation is geared principally toward the recent dental graduate who feels somewhat intimidated by endodontics.  Most undergraduate dentals schools have such busy curriculums that minimal time is devoted to clinical endodontics.  Consequently, this session will be dedicated to such issues as practical diagnosis, when to refer, how to achieve profound anesthesia, minimization of iatrogenic errors, various instrumentation techniques and obturation options.

  1. Recognize the challenges of performing endodontic therapy.
  2.  Understand how to get patients profoundly numb.
  3. Have a better sense of endodontic instrumentation and metallurgy.
  4. Fully comprehend hydraulic condensation with bioceramics
  5. Understand when to refer and how to use the Case Difficulty Assessment Form
