Maria Salnik, DDS '11
Maria Salnik, DDS ’11, is a general dentist practicing in the Washington DC and Northern Virginia area. She received her DDS degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry 2011, and completed the AEGD program in 2012. She holds a bachelor's degree in public health from the George Washington University and a master's degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University. She is continuing her education by attending a program on dental implants at New York University.
Salnik is actively involved in the dental community. She attends dental conferences and training courses and volunteers in local and community oral health programs. She is also a contributing author of a dental reference book, "ADA/ PDR Guide to Dental Therapeutics."
When not practicing dentistry, Salnik enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family and practicing yoga. Salnik speaks Spanish, Ukrainian and Russian.
