Title IX-Related Policies and Nondiscrimination Policies

(From: http://www.umaryland.edu/oac/areas-of-responsibility/nondiscrimination-policies/)

The University of Maryland, Baltimore is committed to fostering an environment in which its students, faculty and staff are free from sexual harassment and violence or illegal discriminatory practices. These behaviors impede learning and positive working conditions and, therefore, are not tolerated.

Complaints of prohibited sex discrimination should be reported to the UMB Title IX Coordinator or Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Students may also report to any Responsible Employee, who will promptly report the complaint to the Title IX Coordinator.
