Dr. Brahim completed dental school at Catholic University in Arequipa, Peru, followed by training in oral and maxillofacial surgery and an MS at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Brahim worked at the National Institutes of health (NIH) for the last 24 years as the senior oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He has authored over 50 publications, and lectured nationally and internationally.
Dr. Brahim is an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In addition, he is the director of the clinical research unit, and director of the undergraduate program. He is a devoted teacher and mentor in oral and maxillofacial surgery to undergraduate and graduate students.
Dr. Brahim practices the contemporary scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
