MouthPower for Girl Scouts

p

What is it? Two hours of hands-on fun learning in many different forms. Girls will visit six stations where they will observe and participate in a variety of oral health learning opportunities.

Where and when? Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the National Museum of Dentistry, located in downtown Baltimore at 31 S. Greene St. Two sessions are available: 10 a.m. until noon and 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. (limit 50 people per session).

Who can attend? Daisies, Brownies and Juniors are welcome to attend. Scouts are also encouraged to bring a friend who wants to learn more about scouting. The cost for all scouts and friends is $10/girl, plus one canned good donation. All participants will receive a MouthPower patch and a certificate of accomplishment.

Leaders and adults will not be charged, but only two adults may attend for free for each group of 12 girls. Additional adults will be charged the full price.

How do I register? Call or email Cynthia Hollis at 410-706-4819 or chollis@dentalmuseum.umaryland.edu. A 50 percent deposit is due by March 14, 2014, to confirm your reservation. Space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
