Driving Directions

From Downtown Baltimore: Take Charles Street North past the Washington Monument. Six blocks after the Monument, turn left at Preston Street and go two blocks to Cathedral Street. The Meyerhoff is on the left at the corner of Cathedral and Preston. Turn right on Cathedral Street to enter the Cathedral Street garage.

From North I-83: Park for free at the Timonium or Lutherville light rail stops and take the train to the Cultural Center stop or take I-83 South to Exit 6 (North Avenue/Mt. Royal Avenue). Stay in the center lane to go straight through the light (you will be on Mt. Royal Avenue) and go straight through three lights. Before the fourth light there is a fork in the road. Bear right at the fork. That will put you on Cathedral Street. The Meyerhoff is on the right side at the next corner (Cathedral and Preston). The entrance to the Cathedral Street garage is on the left before you reach the Hall.

From North I-95: Take I-95 South. Follow signs for I-95 Fort McHenry Tunnel to I-395 Downtown Baltimore. Follow the signs for Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (MLK) North. Take MLK North for about three miles to the intersection of MLK and Howard Street (you will need to be in the right lane). Follow the signs for Chase Street/I-83. Go through three lights. The Meyerhoff will be on your left. Proceed straight to the Cathedral Garage on your right.

From South I-95: Take I-95 North to I-395 Downtown Baltimore. Follow the signs for Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (MLK) North. Take MLK North for about three miles to the intersection of MLK and Howard Street (you will need to be in the right lane). Follow the signs for Chase Street/I-83. Go through three lights. The Meyerhoff will be on your left. Proceed straight to the Cathedral Garage on your right.

From West I-695: Take I-695 (Beltway) toward Glen Burnie. From I-695, take I-95 North to I-395 for Downtown Baltimore. Follow the signs for Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (MLK) North. Take MLK North for about three miles to the intersection of MLK and Howard Street (you will need to be in the right lane). Follow the signs for Chase Street/I-83. Go through three lights. The Meyerhoff will be on your left. Proceed straight to the Cathedral Garage on your right.

From West I-70: Take I-70 East and follow onto I-695 (Beltway) towards Glen Burnie. From I-695 take I-95 North to I-395 Downtown Baltimore. Follow the signs for Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (MLK) North. Take MLK North for about three miles to the intersection of MLK and Howard Street (you will need to be in the right lane). Follow the signs for Chase Street/I-83. Go through three lights. The Meyerhoff will be on your left. Proceed straight to the Cathedral Garage on your right.

Parking

Cathedral Parking Garage:
Open during all Meyerhoff Symphony Hall events. Conveniently located at the northeast corner of Preston and Cathedral opposite the Meyerhoff; enter from Cathedral Street. $12 per car. 

Symphony Center Parking Garage:
Open during all Meyerhoff Symphony Hall events. Conveniently located adjacent to the Meyerhoff; enter from Park Avenue. $12 per car.

Parking for the disabled:
Spaces are available on both the Park Avenue and Cathedral Street sides of the Meyerhoff, and in the parking garages.

 

Public Transportation

By Bus:
Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is easily accessible from local routes 3 & 11.

By Light Rail:
Exit the Light Rail at the Cultural Center stop. The hall is directly across Park Avenue to the south. Light Rail hours are Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday and holidays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

By Metro Subway: Exit the subway at State Center Station. Walk one block east on Preston Street to Howard Street. Make a left on Howard then turn right on Dolphin heading east. Meyerhoff is on the right. Metro hours are Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to midnight; Saturday, Sunday & holidays: 6 a.m. to midnight.

By MARC Train (weekday service only):
For MARC riders, Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is just a short walk or cab ride from Baltimore Penn Station. After exiting the train, follow the signs in the station to Charles Street and walk south. Make a right onto Preston Street (the first street past the light at Mt. Royal Avenue ). Follow Preston Street three blocks to Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, on the corner of Preston and Cathedral Streets.
