National University of Singapore
The National University of Singapore is the country's flagship university and enrolls more than 37,000 students from 100 countries. The Faculty of Dentistry, established in 1929, is housed within a state-of-the-art building that was completed in December, 2009. In addition, the university recently expanded its clinics for general and specialty dentistry. The Faculty of Dentistry is a growing research center in the areas of: regeneration and developmental biology, 3D imaging and biomaterials. While studying at this high-tech campus, externs will learn about oral health challenges in a different culture. Singapore, a culinary, entertainment and cultural destination, is also home to famous parks, gardens, nature preserves and zoos.
