Externs will study and provide care at a malaria hospital in a rural region of the country. Students will see health care from a different point of view and develop an understanding of some major issues that affect access to care in developing nations. Malawi, famous for its lively music and dance, offers beautiful mountain scenery. With nine national parks and wildlife reserves, the country is home to some of the world’s rarest animals and plants.
