The Student National Dental Associatino, Maryland chapter, was founded in 1973. The primary objective of this organization is to foster the recruitment, admission, development, and graduation of African-American dental and dental hygiene students. Among the activities in which the Maryland chapter is engaged are minority recruitment, tutoring, social and professional programs, and community and university relations.
