Course Description
This course is designed to provide students background and knowledge of the challenges to care, conditions and health status of individuals, (children and adults) with intellectual and neurodevelopmental disabilities. This will be accomplished by assigned readings and small group discussions, and will be divided in to Introduction, Background on ID/DD, Challenges to Care, and Oral Health Conditions, and finally two case reviews (child and adult).
