JOIN THE DEAN'S FACULTY! 

The Dental School needs you to help bridge the gap between dental school and dental practice by serving as a role model for our students as a member of the Dean's Faculty.
 
Dean's faculty members may include current or retired practitioners, retired faculty and others who can contribute to our student's education through volunteer faculty activities.

• Dean's Faculty members receive special benefits including:
   
  - opportunity to enhance the educational and practice experience of our students
  - in-service training
  - continuing education credit for teaching and attending classes 
  - invitations to appropriate faculty events
  - study-club membership and presentations 
  - special social activities
  - provision of space and use of computers in the school including e-mail accounts

• Dean's Faculty members may be included in one or more of the following core activities based upon their own interests and expertise: 
   
  - Admissions
  - Teaching (didactic, laboratory or clinical)
  - Externships
  - DDS/DH mentoring
  - Research networks
  - Ethics and Professionalism
  - Delivery of Oral Health Care
  - Practice Management
  - Development

Through these activities the Dean's Faculty members will contribute to the enrichment of the Dental School and the faculty at large by providing the number of faculty required to achieve the Dental School mission and by allowing current and future full-time faculty to engage in significant scholarly and professional achievements not attainable with current resources.
