Speaker Biography:

Dr. D'Orazio

Robert M. D’Orazio, DDS, is graduated from the University of Detroit, School of Dentistry in 1984. He obtained fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1987. In 1991, D’Orazio completed a two-year externship at the Midwest Implant Institute, where he obtained an ACLS certificate and intravenous conscious sedation training. He is a past president and board member of the Midwest Implant Institute Fellowship. D’Orazio is a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In 1993, he received diplomate status in the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He was named general program chairman for the 1999 American Academy of Implant Dentistry’s Annual International Meeting. D’Orazio has taught and lectured on the subject of implant dentistry and bone grafting for 22 years in North and Central America. He is co-founder of Advanced Implant Mentoring and currently serves Camlog USA in both consultant and educator capacities. D’Orazio maintains a referral-based dental implant practice in Sterling Heights, Mich. He, his wife Linda and their son PJ reside in Lake Orion, Mich.pp

Course Description:

Lecture and participation

Expand your knowledge of bone grafting. This participation course will cover bone graft materials, membranes selection, and PRP/PRF protocols. Learn how to achieve predictably successful bone grafts, based on the fundamentals of soft tissue flap design, manipulation and passive closure techniques. Dr. D’Orazio will also discuss special techniques to graft around dental implants as well as various bone augmentation procedures to maximize the potential for successful future implant placement.
