|Parliamentarian Ron Carter, DDS '75|
Dr. Carter received his bachelor’s degree from Loyola College in 1971. He earned his DDS from UMSOD in 1975 and then completed a general practice residency with the U.S. Public Health Service in Lexington, Ky. Following his residency, he held a staff position at the USPH Outpatient Clinic in New York City. Dr. Carter is currently in private practice in Baltimore.
He served as president of the Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2010-2011. Dr. Carter is a member of the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, Gorgas Honor Fraternity, Academy of General Dentistry, Baltimore City Dental Society, Maryland State Dental Association and American Dental Association. He has been active on the boards of many dental organizations, and currently serves on the executive board of the Baltimore City Dental Society and as president of the Baltimore City Dental Society Insurance Agency, Inc. Dr. Carter was honored with the Distinguished Service Award from the MSDA.
In his spare time, Dr. Carter enjoys playing keyboard, cooking, gardening, photographing scenery, tasting and making wine and completing home improvement projects.
