Alumnus Receives Political Advocacy Award

Vincent E. DiFabio, DDS '71, received the 2011 John F. Freihaut Political Activist Award from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS). The award recognizes Dr. DiFabio's outstanding grassroots efforts and support of legislative issues at state and federal levels. He has served on the AAOMS committees on health care advocacy and government affiars and has participated as a delegate to the AAOMS House of Delegates for the past 12 years.

UMSOD Graduate Named Top Orthodontist

Patrick Cuozzo, DDS '95, was named one of the top orthodontists in New Jersey by New Jersey Monthly Magazine. He is one of only 323 New Jersey dentists honored in the publication, which polled more than 6,000 practitioners in the state to develop the list. Dr. Cuozzo operates a private practice in Lincroft and Sea Girt, N.J.
