Class of 2009 |  | Dr. Damghani received her DDS from the Dental School at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She moved to United States in 2001 and attended the University of Pennsylvania from where she earned her DMD degree in 2004. Before entering the prosthodontic graduate program in 2006 she worked in private practice.
|  | Dr. Farha Maidi is from Brunei. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the University College Cork, Ireland in 2003. After serving as a Government Dental Officer in Brunei for a few years, she began her Prosthodontic Residency at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2006. She is now a third-year resident and is also enrolled in the Masters Program at the University of Maryland. |  | Dr. Caroline Nguyen was born in Montreal, Canada. She attended Brebeuf College to complete a Health Science Degree and subsequently attended the University of Montreal where she received her Dental Medicine Doctorate in 2006. Dr. Nguyen then enrolled in the Prosthodontic Residency at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and is now a third year resident. She is also enrolled in the Masters Program at the University of Maryland. | | |
Class of 2010 |  | Dr. Tan was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He attended the National University of Singapore from 2001 to 2005 and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) degree. He served the National Healthcare Group in Singapore upon graduation, working as a dental officer at the polyclinics and Alexandra Hospital. In July 2007, he enrolled in the Prosthodontic Residency at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. |  | Dr. Richard A. Wilson is originally from Wilmington, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree double majoring in Biology and Chemistry Biomedical Emphasis. After working for a year as a field chemist, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for graduate study in cytotechnology and successfully completed the one year certificate program. He worked as a cytotechnologist for two years before attending dental school at Howard University College of Dentistry. After earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Howard University he enrolled into the prosthodontic residency at the University of Maryland at Baltimore Dental School. He currently has licenses to practice dentistry in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is now pursuing the Master of Science degree concurrently with the Certificate of Prosthodontics. |  | Dr. Kaye You was born in China. She finished her dental school from University of Beijing and University of Pennsylvinia. She practiced several years in private practice. Now she is resident of prosthodontic department, dental school of University of Maryland. |
Class of 2011 |  | Dr. Joanna Kempler is originally from Romania where she attended the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila,” School of Stomatology in Bucharest, Romania. In 2002, she moved to Baltimore, MD . She graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in May 2008. During her undergraduate training, she received The Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics Award of Excellence and The American College of Prosthodontics Achievement Award. In July 2008, she enrolled in the Prosthodontics Residency at the University of Maryland. |  | Dr. Daniel Greenbaum received his DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, NY, New York, in 2007. He completed a General Practice Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY, in 2008. Currently, Daniel is a Prosthodontics Resident and enrolled in the Masters Program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. |  | Dr. Monica Parekh originally from Baltimore, Maryland and she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2004. She then went on to University of Pennsylvania where she received a DMD in 2008. She is currently at University of Maryland for postgraduate studies in Prosthodontics combined with a Masters in Science. |  | Dr. Elias M Rivera is from Lima, Peru where he received his Bachelor in Stomatology and DDS degrees from Cayetano Heredia University, Dental School in 1996. Upon graduation, he was chosen as a teaching assistant and was awarded with Grunenthal Research Prize in Dentistry for his bachelor’s thesis in 1997. Dr. Rivera futhered his education by attending a 2 year advanced specialty education program in Oral Rehabilitation in 1999 at Cayetano Heredia University. From 2000 to 2005 he worked as a full-time faculty member as well as a private practicioner before coming to the United States. In 2008 he completed a 1 year AEGD residency program at Dade County Dental Research Clinic, where he treated underserved patients from Jackson Memorial Hospital Miami, Florida. After practicing dentistry for 13 years, he is curently enrolled in the postgraduate program in prosthodontics and is pursuing his Master of Science degree at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. |
