The University Of Maryland, School Of Dental Medicine, Department of Periodontics, seeks candidates for the Implant amd Periodontal Prosthesis Fellowship.  Individuals who have completed their training in periodontics are eligible for this 12-month intensive program.  The goal of the Fellowship is to train individuals with established scholarship, clinical, and technical abilities so that they may deliver the highest quality of patient care in periodontal prosthesis and implant dentistry.  For those who have completed their post-graduate training, the Fellowship will provide a curriculum and experience that will prepare them to comprehensively treat advanced implant cases, with emphasis on surgical treatment planning and execution.

Fellowship training is guided by a faculty with Board-certified specialists—eager to impart their advanced surgical and restorative knowledge base in the framework of evidence-supported literature.  Fellowship training will take place in the state-of-the-art Periodontics Postgraduate Clinic that is equipped with the latest diagnostic imaging equipment, full surgical suites, sedation capability, and a dedicated support staff.  A competitive fellowship salary is provided.
