![]() |
This program, through its robust full-time and part-time OMS faculty, trains surgeons in the contemporary scope of oral-maxillofacial surgery to include implants, office anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, head and neck pathology, hard and soft tissue facial reconstruction, cleft-craniofacial surgery, TMJ surgery, CMF trauma, facial aesthetic surgery, and corrective jaw surgery.
We offer two categorical residency tracks per year (one four-year position and two six-year positions), several one-year internship positions, and a fellowship in maxillofacial pathology and reconstruction. Both the residency and the fellowship are fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Maryland offers a sampling of all the eastern United States has to offer with easy access to the entire east coast corridor. Residents are in close proximity to the Chesapeake Bay, the Atlantic Coast, the Appalachian Mountains as well as the Nation’s Capital.
Thank you for your interest in our program and please feel free to contact us for any additional information.
Yours sincerely,
