Dr. Chenette is a 1983 graduate of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After receiving his dental degree, he worked for three years with the U. S. Public Health Service as a staff dentist. In 1986, he began his teaching career at the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and in the Department of Community Dentistry. In 1990, he began full-time private practice in Washington, DC. In 1994, he returned to teaching, at BCDS, in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. Since then, he has served as a course director, Restorative Supervisor, General Practice Manager and currently serves as Director of Clinical Operations. In 1999, he earned his Masters degree in Public Health through the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
