Dr. Michael Tabacco

Dr. Michael Tabacco was born in Albany, New York, graduated from Siena College in 1964 and after a five-year stint in the Navy as a Line Officer, attend the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dentistry and received his DDS degree in 1974. During the same time period he received his MS degree in Molecular Biology from Canisius College/Rosewell Park Memorial Institute. He returned to active duty Navy as a Dental Officer and served an additional nineteen years, retiring with the rank of Captain from active Naval Service in 1992. He served with the US Marine Corps, enjoyed four tours of shipboard duty, and in his final tour he served as a professor and lecturer at the Naval Dental School, Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Tabacco is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, he is a member of the American Equilibration Society, and International Academy of Orthodontics. He maintains a private practice in Rockville, MD. and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Advanced Education in Prosthodontics Program.
