Dental Hygiene

Ms. Patricia Mulford,   graduated from the University of Maryland Dental Hygiene program in 1974. Over the last 36 years, dental hygiene has been a very positive force for Ms. Mulford. In 1975, she began a career in dental hygiene education as a faculty member at University of Maryland. In 1980, she received a Master of Science degree in Adult and Continuing Education from Johns Hopkins University.  During the next 27 years, Pat has worked in private practice in Baltimore and on the Eastern Shore. In 2007, Ms. Mulford returned to dental hygiene education as a part-time faculty member. She is currently coordinating and teaching the clinical and laboratory components of the Junior year curriculum as part of the UM dental hygiene Eastern Shore distance learning program.
