Ms. Lisa Bress, RDH, MS   Clinical Assistant Professor received her Bachelors of Science degree in 1983,  and Masters of Science degree in 1994 in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland, Baltimore Dental School. After years of clinical practice, she joined the Dental Hygiene faculty in 1995. Ms. Bress' position includes both administrative and educational roles. Her administrative responsibilities include coordinating the Perryville satellite dental hygiene program, the Community Service Learning program, the Dental Hygiene Fellowship program and the Dental Hygiene NERB Exam. She was honored by her senior students in 2005 with an Excellence in Teaching Award and as Teacher of the Year in 1999, 2004, 2006 and 2007. Her research interests include community health and dental health literacy. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association, the American Dental Education Association, Sigma Phi Alpha Honor Society and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
