Deborah L. Cartee, RDH, MS
Dental Hygiene

mission

Ms. Cartee, RDH, MS was an honor graduate of the Community College of Baltimore, where she received a Certificate in Dental Assisting and an undergraduate degree in Dental Hygiene. She later received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB); and, Master of Science degree in Management (Healthcare Administration Track) from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC).
Ms. Cartee has worked extensively in private dental practices for 25 years in a clinical capacity, first as a Certified Dental Assistant, and then as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She became an adjunct faculty member at Baltimore City Community College in 1992; and then joined the full-time faculty as an Instructor in 2004. Her instruction included: Head & Neck Anatomy, General Pathology, Oral Radiology Lab, Dental Materials Lab, Pre-clinic Instrumentation, as well as 1st & 2nd year clinics. In 2008, she began teaching at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, in the Division of Dental Hygiene.
