Deborah L. Cartee, RDH, MS
Dental Hygiene

mission

Ms. Cartee, RDH, MS  serves as Dental School Assistant Professor and Junior Clinic Coordinator. She was an honor graduate of the Community College of Baltimore, where she received a Certificate in Dental Assisting and an undergraduate degree in Dental Hygiene. She later received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB); and, Master of Science degree in Management (Healthcare Administration Track) from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC).
Ms. Cartee has worked extensively in private dental practices for 25 years in a clinical capacity, first as a Certified Dental Assistant, and then as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She became an adjunct faculty member at Baltimore City Community College in 1992; and then joined the full-time faculty as an Instructor in 2004. Her instruction included: Head & Neck Anatomy, General Pathology, Oral Radiology Lab, Dental Materials Lab, Pre-clinic Instrumentation, as well as 1st & 2nd year clinics. In 2008, she began teaching at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, in the Division of Dental Hygiene.
