ImmunoEM _Principles & Practice Minicourse

Location: University of Maryland Baltimore, Electron Microscopy Core Imaging Facility (EMCIF)
Instructor and Demonstrator: : EMCIF Director (Dr. Ru-ching Hsia) and staff
Scope of aims: To promote the knowledge and skills of immunoEM Techniques.
Targeted participants: Individuals who wish to learn immuno Electron Microscopy principles and techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring their own immunoEM projects. Contact EMCIF to discuss your project prior to the start of the course.
Format: Lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice
Techniques covered: ImmunoEM sample preparation, ImmunoEM-Principles, experimental design and workflow
Instrumentation: High pressure freezer (Leica-Microsystem), mPrep ASP-1000 automated specimen processor (Microscopy Innovations)
