Where we are:

The Electron Microscopy Core Facility is located on the 9th floor of the new Dental School building.

• For UMB users, go through the glass door at the Baltimore Street level entrance, turn right, follow the hallway , pass through another security door on your left and take the elevator to the 9th floor.  Turn right at teh 9th floor atrium, pass a double glass door and take the corridor all the way to the end.  You can ring the bell by the door to alert stafff to let you enter the Facility.

• For visitors without an UMB ID, please stop by the Security desk and call the Facility or ask the security guard to call 6-7992.  A staff member will come down to lead you to the Facility.

• It is always a good idea to call ahead and inform Facility staff of your approximate arrival time.

Direction to the Dental School:

• University of Maryland Dental School is conveniently located in downtown Baltimore, six blocks west of Inner Harbor.  Please refer to the UMB campus map for the exact location of the Dental School.
  
• The University of Maryland, Baltimore campus can be easily accessed by car and public transportation.  Click here for driving directions.

Parking:

• Visitors may park in the Pearl Garage on Fayette Street, west of Greene Street or in the Grand Garage at Paca and Fayette Streeets.
  
• Lexington Market Parking Garage is a couple of blocks away from the UMB campus and provides a cheaper alternative.

• Metered parking is also available along Baltimore and FayetteStreet for a maximum duration of two hours.
