WHITE COAT CEREMONY 2008

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS

·        Please dress in professional attire

·        Classes will end at 2:30 pm.

·        White coats will be distributed on the ground floor in the area of the Dental Store

·        By 3:15 pm, you should have your white coat and be ready to line up on the ground floor.

·        Fold your white coat over your right arm for the procession.

·        You will line up in 2 lines (81 in each line). We want you distributed so that there is an even distribution by discipline (dental/ dental hygiene), gender, etc.

·        At 3:30 pm, the marshals will lead the students to Davidge Hall

·        As you enter Davidge Hall, you will be directed to your seat.

·        At the end of the speakers' part of the ceremony, Dr. Trotman, will ask you to rise, don your coats, and read aloud with her the oath. The oath will be printed in the program.

·      At the end of the ceremony, when it is time to leave, Dr. Meehan and Mrs. Fried will stand and come to the area where the students are seated. You will all rise and we will exit the same way we entered and return IN LINE to the Dental School for the reception.
